Kelmont’s role
Kelmont provides business consulting and advisor-recruiting support to established financial advisors considering an affiliation change. Josh Curtis helps advisors define business objectives; gathers and explains general information about receiving firms and platform models; compares business, operating, and economic features using information supplied by those firms; identifies potential matches; facilitates introductions; and coordinates communications and administrative planning through a transition.
Kelmont does not provide investment, legal, tax, accounting, valuation, or compliance advice; recommend or transact in securities; determine suitability; negotiate or bind either party; act as an advisor’s agent or fiduciary; or guarantee an introduction, offer, term, or outcome. Advisors and receiving firms perform their own diligence, obtain their own professional advice, negotiate directly, and make all final decisions.
Regulatory and licensing status
Kelmont is a business consulting and advisor-recruiting service. It does not offer investment-advisory, brokerage, securities, insurance, legal, or tax services through this website, manage assets, execute transactions, or take custody of client assets. Kelmont serves established financial advisors in the United States only and provides services only where legally permitted.
As of August 17, 2026, Josh Curtis is not currently registered as a broker or an investment adviser representative. His relationship with Concurrent Investment Advisors ended April 16, 2026. Josh holds Virginia life and health insurance licenses through September 2027 in connection with EQB Strategy, LLC. Insurance services are not offered through Kelmont Group or this website, and website content does not constitute insurance advice or an offer to sell insurance.
Sphinx Advisory Group remains legally open but is not operationally active. It is not part of Kelmont’s services, although it and Kelmont are connected through Josh’s common ownership. EQB Strategy, LLC also has a separate tax-consulting activity that does not prepare tax returns and is not actively marketed through Kelmont.
No professional advice or offer
Website material is general and should not be treated as investment, legal, tax, accounting, compliance, valuation, or transaction advice. It is not an offer to buy or sell a security or a recommendation of a specific firm, product, or transaction.
Advisors and firms should review current documents, economics, risks, obligations, and regulatory considerations with their own professional advisers before acting.
Firm information and introductions
Firm names, models, capabilities, service levels, culture, economics, ownership terms, transition support, and personnel can change. Information should be confirmed directly with the relevant firm before it is relied upon.
An introduction does not imply endorsement, guarantee fit, or promise an offer or agreement. Kelmont may first discuss an advisor in general or de-identified terms. After the advisor authorizes a specifically named firm, Kelmont may share the advisor’s name, business contact details, firm or practice, role, approximate business profile, stated goals, and transition questions with that firm. Kelmont does not share client names, account data, credentials, government identifiers, health data, or unrelated sensitive information for an introduction.
Compensation and conflicts
Receiving firms or platforms engage and pay Kelmont. Advisors do not pay Kelmont, directly or indirectly, and do not become Kelmont clients merely by visiting the site or contacting Kelmont. Kelmont generally receives a success fee when an advisor signs with a receiving firm or completes a transition. The fee and payment timing are set by the applicable firm agreement and may vary by firm or engagement.
Compensation differences create a potential conflict because Kelmont may have a financial incentive among the firms discussed. Before an advisor authorizes an introduction, Kelmont discloses the payer, the nature of its compensation, and any material variability or incentive. Josh and Kelmont have no ownership interests, exclusivity arrangements, quotas, or undisclosed affiliations with receiving firms in the network.
A separate written agreement with a receiving firm may contain additional terms. Each advisor and firm remains responsible for its own evaluation, negotiations, and final decision.
Experience and relationship claims
Statements concerning 18 years of experience, long-standing industry relationships, and work with advisors managing approximately $20 million to $100 million describe Josh Curtis’s experience and market focus, not the operating history of Kelmont Group as a trade name. Kelmont has confirmed that it can substantiate these statements.
No statistic, ranking, client count, placement result, testimonial, endorsement, or historical claim should be added without substantiation and required context.
Third-party names and content
References to other organizations, firm types, trademarks, or services do not by themselves indicate affiliation or endorsement. Stock-media subjects are illustrative and must not be represented as Kelmont personnel, clients, advisors, partner-firm employees, or endorsers.
Review and updates
The operating entity, service scope, compensation arrangements, conflicts, geographic scope, licensing and affiliation facts, and experience claims above have been confirmed by Josh Curtis. Kelmont updates these disclosures when a material fact or applicable requirement changes.
